On Saturday the 13th October, Sensei Frank Burlingham of
Broadland Aikido Club - 4th Dan IOA, 4th Dan UKA traveled to Crystal
Palace to Teach on the national British Aikido Board Course. It is
considered a great honor to teach on this course as only the finest
teachers are invited to teach on what is considered to the largest
course in the United Kingdom.

Frank has been in Aikido for nearly 30 years and has traveled
extensively to learn and study with some of the best instructors in
the world. Broadland Aikido club meets on Thursdays 8:00 PM and
Sundays 11:00 AM at the Satori Martial Arts Centre in St. Peters
Street, Lowestoft.

In addition, Saturday, November 10th,
200, a one day Aikido course took place at the Satori Martial Arts
Centre in St. Peters St, Lowestoft, hosted by Broadland Aikido Club.
Three guest instructors traveled from
Colchester, Coventry and Shropshire. They were Pat Neary 4th Dan
United Kingdom Aikikia Shropshire, Barbara Moss 3rd
DanYama-Arashi UK Coventry and Petra Elliot 2nd Dan Institute of
Aikido, Coventry. It was a special occassion to have three such
instructors of high standards, proving that finesse beats muscle and
the martial arts do not depend on sex or size. The training course,
was well attended by over fifty people, traveling form all parts of
England to train.
