Gokyo, Sasha Calderon uke
This
trip was quite enlightening. Kato’s visits bring together aikidoka not only from
Houston, but from all over Texas.
Bringing weapons training out of the four walls of the dojo
shows us how aikido isn’t just about one’s self or even about
one’s opponent, but about blending with the world around us.
We have much to learn.
