The Big Three Aikido Course took place
April 26th - 27th, 2003
at Waveney
Leisure Centre in Lowestoft, hosted by Broadland Aikido Club.

The Big Three
course has been running for five years and attracts some of the most
renowned Aikido instructors in England: Mr. Hayden Foster 7th Dan IOA,
Mr. William Smith 6th Dan UKA, and the late Mr. Tom Moss, 6th Dan
Yama_Arashi, along with Lowestoft’s Frank Burlingham 4th Dan IOA UKA.

This was a
two day event drawing over 150 Aikido practitioners plus families from
all over England and Scotland. At the conclusion of the event, Sensei
Vince Hammond of Broadland Aikido Club was promoted to the rank of 3rd
Dan Institute of Aikido. Vince has been practicing and teaching for many
years at Broadland and was proud and pleased to have achieved this
promotion.
