On Sunday, December 10th,
three members of Broadland Aikido Club in Suffolk, United Kingdom traveled
to the headquarters of the Institute of Aikido at Heathrow to be graded.

Hayden Foster, 7th Dan
of the Institute of Aikido examined the promotion tests. Persons
passing their examinations were Nidan:
Alan Perin and John Oakins, Shodan:
Keith Newton, and Ruth McWilliams of Reading.
Hayden Foster, instructing for over 40 years now, is one of the founders of Aikido in
England. He will be visiting Lowestoft in May 2001 to teach on THE BIG THREE
weekend at the Lowestoft Leisure Centre.

The Big Three course has been
running for three years and attracts three of the most renown Aikido teachers in
England, Mr. Hayden Foster 7th Dan, Mr. William Smith 6th Dan, and
Mr. Thomas Moss, 5th Dan. The event draws over 200 Aikido
practitioners.
