In Aikido, Munetsuki attacking is commonly a
fist thrust to the mid-section or center of the torso, however it is also practiced
targetting the head and lower abdomen.
It is mandatory that both partners know how to
execute a punch strongly and effectively during practice. A weak or inappropriate attack
does not prepare your partner for a good workout. Practicing proper punching techniques
will add to a more effective practice and better Aikido techniques.
