Katatori
Kokyunage
Variation 1, Angle 2
In this second graphic, the attacker grabs for the victim's
right lapel.
In this version of
Kokyunage, the nage grabs the sleeve of the attacker with her right
hand, steps back moving slightly off center towards the left. Her left
hand can strike the attacker's face, but drops and slices through the
bend of the arm with a downwards through-motion, as her weight shifts
and steps back. The uke is taken off balance and falls.
