AIKIDO TECHNICAL TIPS
Ryotemochi Kokyunage, omote - Var. 1, Angle 1

This technique is classical Aikido technique, using an irimi entrance to break the balance/one-point of the assailant. Note the near-direct entrance in the beginning of the technique.

As many have stated, Kokynages (breath throws) are classified as "20-year techniques", as it takes much practice to perfect. the timing is nearly as important as the execution of the technique itself.

The tenkan movement continues throughout the entire movement. See if you can count how many tenkans are done just in this movement.
