Ushiro Hijitori
Sankyo omote,
Variation #1
C. Matrasko (nage)
and Zeke Nono (uke)
The proper execution of
this technique is characterized by making sure both arms and wrists
are close to the torso at the start.
After the attacker grabs
the victim's right elbow, he proceeds to grab the other from behind
for control. The nage moves in the same direction as the second grab
(clockwise), leading the attacker further. Note the arms take a
circular form and the entire movement in this defense.
The reversal in the
movements sets the aggressor up, as she steps back into an ikkyo, sets
up for sankyo. The finish is throwing with the sankyo wrist,
placing an enormous amount of pressure and pain into the wrist.
