AI-HAMMI
When both the uke and the nage are assuming the
same hammi positioning, but are facing one another it is referred to as ai-hammi.
Note below that both students are in hidari
hammi (left hammi) positioning in this illustration. The hammi could be in
either migi hammi or hidari hammi for ai-hammi positioning.
