Katatetori
Kokyunage
(Variation #1b )
Variation 1b. Illustrates
the same technique as 1a., however the nage's left hand in the graphic
is the object of the attack-grab. Note that the nage also
attacks the uke towards the face with the right hand, causing the uke
to turn to avoid the counter-attack and allowing the nage to take
advantage of the movement change. The nage adjusts and throws the
attacker in a downward angle. Please note the hip action taken.

Katatetori Kokyunage (Variation
#1b)
C. Matrasko (nage) and Zeke Nono (uke)
The beauty of Aikido is that you can vary moves,
just as long as you keep within the Aikido principles of redirection and adjustment.
