Munetsuki
Kotegaishi
Munetsuki Kotegaishi is typically a defense
against a punch to the abdomen or center of the body. The punch is avoided by using a
tenkan (pivoting the body) and redirecting the fist's thrust against the attacker.
Implementing the Kotegaishi
involves using both hands to help lead the punch's direction in a circular motion
towards the attacker's own center or One-point..
