Defense Problems with Small Limbs

From an anonymous female reader:

I'm practicing Zenshin Karate and absolutely hate sparring sessions as I always get hit. My blocks aren't good and my punches never quite make it to the practicing opponent. I'm of small build and believe my problems are because my limbs are too short. Any tips on how I can improve??

You must remember your training to move slightly off line of attack. Also, if talking about fighting, you must block . . .
